All The Petals of the Universe 2 is the second book in this poetry series. While the first covered a lot of social issues including racism, police brutality, misogyny, ego-busting, and spiritual awareness, the second book speaks all about love. Love for yourself, love for the one who has your heart, love for the sake of love, because to feel love, and to be loved, is the best drug in the world.

It is only with love that we can heal our hearts. It is only with love that we can treat a stranger as a sister or brother. Fear has taken enough from us. It is on us to love and love hard. Nature needs our love, humanity needs this drink from above. The word love itself is beautiful, but the feeling is better, and how high and happy one is in the hold of these feelings. How lucky we are to be able to feel like this, to be kissed and confess to shooting stars about love's intensity. To sit with a wish stirring your heart, and wish on eyelashes, clovers and stars about finding 'the one'. We're lovesick.

However, my sincerity in matters love has not been obscured by my need to preach about all the gifts love can make you have. Sometimes, we are broken by the same love that heals us, and again, we find ourselves on the same path journeying towards love. This is brevity on paper disguised as art, art brave enough to shout. This is a dare; jump in. In love's sea, you are the fish. This is home, you cannot drown. This is the substance better than crack.

This, is love.
