Captain Christopher Wolf commanded the Star Science Settlement now for the past ten years. The United Space Agency has ordered him to Washington DC for a few months for a top secret reason. Admiral Gunter Adenaur also assigned a temporary commander, Captain Viktor Adler, to the Star Settlement during his absence. When Captain Wolf arrives in DC, Admiral Adenaur is a mystery as no one in the space agency has heard of him. With Alder, things at the settlement seem to take a turn for the worst, and it forces 18-year-old Star, Charlie Wolf to her family, to run into the wilderness of the planet with her pack of eleven wolves to hide. But while Star is running from Alder, various rivers start to run red and animals are dying of some unknown poison. What is it that's killing the animals? Why are the rivers turning blood red? And why was Christopher Wolf ordered to Earth?
