From beginning to end you will find out things about a confused brother from the hood growing up and facing many obstacles that he refuses to give up on overcoming. Starting out with his praying grandmother, his hard working yet drinking mother, his somewhat of a bully older sister and an absent dad. You will read about my life of drug addiction, relationships, alcoholism, peer pressure, fear, violence, sex, etc. You see as a writer, I have no problem speaking the truth about my life (no shame or regrets, just thankful for the man I've become) and to be honest there is no one that can tell my life's story better than me. The term "Hood" is not being used to pinpoint a specific impoverished community or certain ethnic group, but to express a particular state of mind or spiritual decline, while the term "Good" is representative of how the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross has given us all the grace and mercy to be saved and become with each new day.
