My mission in writing this book, Shunice Speaks From A Mother's Perspective, was to persuade other families to be attentive in their children's lives. I cannot stress how imperative it is for both parents to be active in a child's life. Did you know the most miraculous gift from God other than him sending us Jesus is the gift of children? We must not take it lightly as a child is entrusted to you (the parents) by God to nurture, mold, and shape into his image. Therefore, we must not abandon our responsibility as a parent? Sadly, many children grow up with issues that could have been avoided if both parents were present.
