This United States Army manual, Army Techniques Publication ATP 4-02.25 The Medical Detachment, Forward Resuscitative and Surgical December 2020, provides guidance for training, establishing, employing, and sustaining the detachment. The principal audience for ATP 4-02.25 is medical commanders and their staff, medical planners, forward resuscitative and surgical detachment staff, and supported medical company commanders. This publication is technical in nature and the aspects of the Army Health System contained in it will be employed similarly regardless of the operational environment or type of operation being supported. ATP 4-02.25 applies to the Active Army, Army National Guard/Army National Guard of the United States, and the United States Army Reserve unless otherwise stated.
