Masticophis flagellum is under the species of a colubrid snake, additionally referred to as a whip snake or a coach whip. They are a slender bloodied snake that is characterized by their huge eyes and round pupils yet with their little eyes. From the outset, their skin seems plaited. Their hues rely upon where their range is. For the snake species found in the eastern parts, they have hues that are dark brown to black shading that has a lighter tone in the tail, while for the western parts; they have hues of dark brown and yellowish to gray.
