Will Andy find a way to the Backward City in time to stop Saber? In book four, Lemaria's Secret, Gladdy is gone and Andy's need for revenge is strong. Andy and the Misfits devise a plan to go to the Backward City-to do away with Elsfur and Saber for good. To do this, they must travel to the Dalley Mines and go through the famed Finnyglub Mirror. Once in the Backward City, Andy goes up against Saber, but Saber gets the upper-hand. Thrown out of the Backward City, Andy must find a new way into the mirror world to defeat Saber. Andy's plan changes, however, when he receives word from Kwagar that Elsfur has kidnapped Shimmer. Andy heads to the Crystal Sea, and travels to the underwater prison, called Lemaria, run by a sea hag named Andrepa. Finally making it to the prison, Andy not only finds Elsfur and Shimmer, but he also finds a secret that will help him destroy the Crown and the Jewel of the races-the secret of Lemaria. Will Andy find a way to the Backward City in time to stop Saber? Will he rescue the girl of his dreams? In this adventure, Andy reunites a family, forges friendships, and finds something to help him end the Crown and the Jewel of the Races for good, all while coming to terms with his Aunt Gladdy's death.
