One is young and a computer wizard, the other is a mature old school type investigator. Together, Agents Samantha Kaufman and her partner Trevor Montgomery are the best the FBI has to offer. Their partnership started as an experiment and was so successful that it was copied at FBI offices throughout the country. This time they are facing one of their toughest investigations yet. It all starts with a simple disappearance and then another one and another one. Soon enough, with the help of today's technology, they find that similar cases have been happening for years and that the one and only thing all these cases have in common is that there is no body. Without that it is hard to prove a crime has been committed. Their investigation leads them to opposite ends of the country and even lands them smack down in the middle of a gang war.
