Villains from Scotland is a Pride and Prejudice Variation, a combination of Mystery and Romance. Elizabeth and Jane Bennet meet Fitzwilliam Darcy and Charles Bingley when the two ladies accompany their sister Kitty to Miss Betty's School for Young Ladies in London. Darcy's sister Georgiana arrives at the same time and the two new students discover that they will be roommates. Soon after, Jane and Elizabeth are invited to ride through Hyde Park by Fitzwilliam and Charles. The niece of Darcy's friend, Lord Harley, runs from the nearby woods screaming. The Bennet sisters, Darcy, his cousin, Colonel Richard Fitzwilliam, and his uncle, the powerful Earl of Matlock, find themselves embroiled in a series of kidnapping plots perpetrated by Scottish villains.
