In the 12th century, Western Europe marches to war against the armies of the East to reclaim Jerusalem. Argentus Lionheart, a fervent knight of England, has long awaited the day where he could join his brothers in the quest for the Holy Land. However, fate has other plans. When Argentus and his pet rooster Richard stop to protect the young lady Emma from a band of thieves, he is unable to make the departure for mainland Europe. Stranded in the Isles and wracked with emptiness, Argentus swears to protect Emma with his life and his sword. The knight finds that his pledge will be tested as an England without an army is besieged by witches, pirates, Vikings and perhaps even gods. For these and many more, Argentus has taken an oath upon himself: None will be spared the blood and the steel. SINNERS MUST BE PUNISHED!
