This book details the early years of the Association and charts the history of the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship and Cork's contribution to it during the years 1884 to 1899. The book gives detailed match reports from every Cork match as well as every Munster and Leinster Finals, All-Ireland Semi-Finals and of course every All-Ireland Senior Hurling Final during this period. The book also provides line-ups for every Cork match as well as providing the proceedings from several key meetings of the Cork County Board and the Central Council.
