I wrote this book for people like myself who have been traumatized by someone else's hands to let them know we will survive! Letting people like us know there is an alternative to suicide because that is never the answer. We will not let the monster who brought this monster into our lives win. He or she has taken enough from us. We will be dammed if we let the monster who traumatized us and left us with this mental illness convince us to take our own lives. We will fight and fight some more before we let what you did to us destroy us.
