Mara Brown, a young woman with dreams of being a great Beast Rider, has been training her entire life to join them. When Mara is denied a position on the squad she finds herself unable to sit by and watch as Crospie sightings become more and more frequent throughout Chicago and wants to be able to help her city. After a chance encounter with an injured Tyrannosaurus rex, Mara decides to take up the mantle of the vigilante the White Death and fight the Crospie infestation her way. As Mara and her T. rex companion take on the monstrous hordes they begin to uncover a conspiracy that may threaten not only Chicago but the entire world...
