A collection of melancholy, philosophical, romantic, contemplative verse by one of the most prolific modern American poets. The writer addresses the perennial topics of love and death, time and memory, fight and survival, from the viewpoint of a Romantic Soul struggling to survive in the modern civilized world. Meter and rhyme is mostly preserved, although the collection contains also free verse.
