This book of poem depicts relationship, friendship, hardship be it in office, a public square, be it at home, be it in a prom, be it in the classroom, be it in the world or be it alone walking on a foothill town simply gazing around with no plans. As we walk images pass by us. Those images have people, places and constant news framed in it. People have distinct faces; each face has a mind that encompasses compassion, love, goal, dignity to live, rights to live, friendship, a mind that always thinks about freedom. Some thoughts are inborn and mostly are instilled. Wayfarer - lock down likes, poem series depicts many such thoughts pertaining to the lock down norms amid pandemic of 2020. The up-to-the-minute pandemic events and incidents keep affecting the entire world community. We been bombarded with news of sadness and grievances during these troubled times. Beyond people being tested positive for the corona virus the same people continue fighting holding their race high. The first chapter of the book titled 'Zebra Crossing New York' is inspired by such news. Hope everyone would agree upon Black life matters, white life matters, yellow life matters, brown life matters, dotted life matters, albino life matters, furs life matters, barks life matters, ozone life matters. Every time we travel, we go with some purpose in mind. However, mind doesn't stop there. It takes stock of images on the way; the good, the not-so-good and everything. Different mind gets influenced by different things; some with good, some with not-so-good and some with other kinds. Most of these images they fade in time, but there are some, they are forever etched in our hearts. This book is bound with such imagery with verses of self-care. Like a wavelength these poems has ups and downs, the sad times and the happy times. There are stories, songs, hymns, dialogues narrated in simple terms. These poems belong to any age or gender or anybody on a quest for good reads or life.
