Armageddon, the True Story addresses the Final Chapter of mankind in the realm of our collective and individual spiritual selves. And despite the anguish and travails of human history in general, the End of the World as we know it (as predicted in the scriptures of all the major religions) is by far the ultimate epic of heavenly Judgment. The term most familiar to those living in the Western societies is, of course, Armageddon. The author provides a brief and balanced and unbiased synopsis of the Doomsday promises put forth by the various faiths and cultures around the planet. But he does not hesitate to ask the burning (in Hell) questions many of us have voiced within our heads when it comes to dogmas or prophecies we may question but do not always have the bravery to put before our clergy and religious scholars, for fear of embarrassment, ridicule or reproach. The author, however, gleefully wades into that fray on our behalf and deftly wields the razor-sharp sword of his satiric wit and truth-seeking intellect to hack through the dense foliage of spiritual obstructionism and slay the necessary dragons and sacred cows.
