She unknowingly enters a dangerous world that exists right under the town's nose. The suspects are all guilty of something and even the innocent bystanders have secrets.

Allegra sets off on a chase that leads her to a neighboring rival town that has a suspicious amount of income. While searching for answers in unfamiliar waters, she's forced to hide her identity and pose as the wife of a wealthy businessman. The further she gets, the more she realizes just how much danger she's in.

Will she find the truth in time? Or will her new identity be her last clever lie?
