Why is it easier to spew out your inner angst to a stadium full of relative strangers (i.e. social media) than it is to confess your feelings to a close friend? Lara Starcevich attempts to answer that question along with a host of others in this tell-too-much-and-then-some-more diary that she offers up for the world to see and gape their mouths at. "Why would she say that?" or "How will she live with herself after this gets out?" will probably be your first response, but stay with her, it only gets worse from here.
She's only half kidding. These are just the hyped up words she spun to get you to read her book. The truth is way less flashy: it's the story of a divorced, full-time professor with twins who finds it easier to get unconditional love from 3 cats, 2 dogs, 11 chickens, 2 goldfish, rabbits and a crested gecko than acquiring a third child (in the form of a boyfriend).
