When you hunt a killer, you never believe that you could become the prey.
Lincoln Jade is a college senior and aspiring investigative journalist coping with Cystic Fibrosis. She hopes to make her mark in the world interviewing Barry "Blue" Hawkins, a living urban legend, believing he holds the answers to decades-old cold cases. Her classmates and best friends, Windy and Jamie, lend a hand with her project when not investigating a bizarre community illness 700 miles away.
They soon team up with Lincoln's dad, Detective Rick Jade, who is chasing a demon from his past. They discover that their investigations point to the same conspiracy threatening the lives of millions and executed by a single-minded killer. The hunt is on.
