I have made these places, but I have not always used them.
Yet to return to the river, where the crawling moss and lichen covers the spindly branches, is to go back to where this book did begin.
The camera, or the iPhone would have been useful, that image could have achieved something my words never would, who knows it might even have made the cover.
Ephemeral is one step towards the ethereal, that moment of nothingness, which spans, or evokes, the entire beyond-real situation.
I had been there before, once it was a favourite place of escape, alone beside the burbling stream, being brought to life through the wonders of nature.
That this led to a Firenze Museum Life Notes notebook, filled to the brim with poetry is another wonder for me.
