For nearly two centuries, Spain transported treasure from Peru by mule train through the jungle across the Isthmus of Panama to the galleons waiting on the Atlantic side. With the knowledge that at least one mule train was lost in the jungle, a handful of adventurers sail to Panama on the SAGE, their expeditionary ship, to search for the lost treasure. Finding the treasure is hard enough, but their problems multiply when they uncover 10 tons of gold and silver. How can they cart it out of the jungle and back to their ship without arousing suspicion? And faced with the ultimate moral challenge, the crew must decide on just how far they are willing to go to protect their find. Their decision leads to dramatic life-threatening consequences.
