Make Opportunities Come to You

It's time to arise and make things happen in your life. This is a clarion call to every Young Nigerian out there. We need to wake up. You have been given unlimited power. Wielding that power for result is a choice you have to make. Opportunity is a function of awareness. No matter your present state, my friend you can rise from the ashes. Everything I have shared in this book are practical guides, not some theoretical concepts. Some I have used too many times and they are bringing results and I'm still practicing and getting better in them too. If you can practice three out of everything said already, you will have amazing results. There is no special day designed for opportunities to locate people. It can be today. It can be NOW. Remember that success does not have a time keeper. Opportunities doesn't come once in a life time. Every day you wake up, you have a million and one opportunities to do and become what you have never imagined. You need to see it with your mind's eye for you to hold it. It's a mindset. When you tell yourself that opportunity only comes once in a lifetime, you shut your mind from recognizing one when it shows up. Everything you do can be a door-way to that great opportunity you have been praying and looking for. Treat every business with utmost seriousness. There is no small business, neither is there small job. There is nothing like a small client. No matter how much you are paid, deliver excellently. One job well done can bring you before the right person. Money should not be the only reward you get for doing a job. Don't live for the cash you get. Personally, I strive not to get just cash after every job done, I go for cash and recommendation. I believe that cash alone is the lowest form of reward. Every job should lead you to another better and bigger opportunity. Treat everyone you come across in life good. No matter how poorly dressed they are, they can be your ladder to the next level. Everyone won't treat you right. I totally understand that. We can't completely eradicate stupidity form everyone one in the world. The widow of zarephat was just a widow, yet through her the prophet Elijah was preserved. The raven is one of the stingiest creatures who doesn't even care for its own young ones, yet was the vessel God used to feed the prophet Elijah. The people God has destined to be your ladder to great platforms might not look like it. They might not have your theology, but they are certainly your ladder. Every opportunity you have to teach, deliver or speak, do it excellently. There is no small speaking engagement. There is no small platform. Your lifting might be seated in that place you call small auditorium. Don't look down on people, they are your door to the next platform. Stop running from problems and start solving them when you see one (and note that you can't solve every problem). The world open doors for problem solvers. The world recognizes problem solvers. We were designed by God to solve problems; individual, family, societal, religious etc. You are not disadvantaged. There are doors that can only be opened to you when you grow. This means the dividing line between you and some opportunities is simply growth. And don't forget that gold is not appreciated in the dark. It must be seen in the light.
