The poems mirror the simple lifestyle of an African village and the harsh realities of our urban slums. They echo the voice of the jungle and the loneliness of life in a crowded city. The poems are not written to impress the exotic taste of the reader neither is the effort made to avoid offending sensibilities of the weary. This work is unapologetically African and real.
