"The Impotent ", a joint venture of M. Mubashar Nawaz and Khurram Shahzad, is indeed a uniqueaddition to the clan of Pakistani writers' writings in English for both, very promisingly, haveexecuted the task of writing such a marvellous piece. The play is multifaceted as it exhibits areligiously zealot, unforgiving and fundamentalist society that gives less room to love and life, bringsforth the naked reality and fragility of human existence and shows psychological quest of anindividual who is worried about the agony, misery and absurdity of life. The play oscillates betweenlife is what we make of it or vice versa. It's simply worth-reading. Farnood Alam
