How do you deal with a past that you cannot handle? What do you do with your life? Do you fall apart? Do you become an artist? Do you go into therapy? Or do you just go berserk? Christian is a bitter fantasist. A pathetic daydreamer who wants to become a film director. Because of on-going battles with his inner demons and a repressed past, he has difficulty getting a grip. Difficulty getting it together to write a complete script. After many half-hearted efforts - and just as many rejections - he finally finds a form he can cope with, as, reluctantly, he is forced to confront the reality he has fled from for so long. After a claustrophobic but decisive encounter, Christian finally starts working on a theme he has been circling around for some time. The story of a man's fight to free himself from a harsh and violent upbringing.
