For Ages 10 and up. Deep in the ancient past, the Nanuki prince, Wenki, wishes to inherit the title of Emperor of planet Nanau from his father, but he is forbidden by the Council of Elders. He steals away to planet Earth along with his sister, Minki, kidnapping a large number of Nanuki to help them on their mission. At that time, Earth is a primitive planet with races of elves, dwarfs, and merpeople. The Nanuki set up a new civilization where Wenki is the Emperor, but the work is too difficult for the aliens who come from a high-tech society. Minki, a geneticist, assists her brother's plan by spawning slave creatures, including centaurs and griffins, to do the hard labor. One badly mistreated slave species, known as the kappadu, make a daring escape into the wilderness. At the same time, a group of Nanuki captives also attempt to run away back to Nanau. The two groups of fugitives meet, twisting the fate of two planets.
