Geopolymers with open and closed porosity is mentioned in this book, a subject closely followed by the scientific world. The production conditions suitable for ceramic foam production were investigated and attempted to optimize the geopolymerization method using metakaolin powder. Open or closed type varying porous materials with >90% homogeneous distribution in terms of varying surfactants were successfully obtained in this study. The effects of foaming agent amount, surfactant type and amount, and temperature were observed as process variables. Literature and experimental results were used to shed light on the formation of porosity mechanisms. The author observed the thermal behavior of the materials at the end of the study, and compressive strength values were measured using an optical dilatometer, TG/DTA. The thermal behavior of the materials was observed at the end of the study, and compressive strength values were measured with an optical dilatometer, TG/DTA device. The dilatometer analysis clarified the use of porous materials up to 1000°C.
