From the beginning of history of human life has faced great challenges with all its scientific and social advances, and with the increase in the current human population to about eight billion people, it has become more diverse. Environmental issues and cardiovascular diseases, cancer, Alzheimer's, AIDS, etc can be considered as the most important of these issues. Most types of cancer are caused by a dangerous substance called oxidant which has destroyed vital molecules and distort the mechanism of the cell cycle. These oxidants can be treated with synthetic antioxidants. Due to the side effects of synthetic antioxidants identification and extraction of antioxidants under the category of secondary plant metabolites can be facilitate the prevention and treatment of various cancers and decrease the side effects of medications. The aim of this study is to identify the antioxidant power of Damask rose and Saffron and their effect is on cancer cells. These Damask rose is from the gardens of Atashgah tight in Meymand Fars region and Khorasan Razavi Saffron was packaged from the market.
