The development of treatment modalities has been a turning point that revolutionized prosthetic dentistry. It is evincing that even a cursory overview of past decades reveals tremendous research in the arena of prosthodontic management of partial anodontia. This textbook aims to pertain the nature of partial anodontia with special emphasis on importance of early prosthodontic management, awareness among the parents regarding early management, psychotherapy or counselling to the entire family in the management and behavioural adjustment of the child, also assisting the prosthodontist in using simple therapeutic options to provide esthetic, functional and psychological benefits for children, dental and medical complications associated with the congenital or developmental malformations, early dental interventions, multidisciplinary team approach and prosthodontic rehabilitation including considerations in patient management and timing of the treatment which improve the patient's appearance and minimize the onset of emotional and psychosocial problems.
