Effect of composted organic material on some physical characteristics of soil
Hala Kandil
All around us, there are many kind of biological waste, such as garbage, humus excreta sludge, livestock wastes, agricultural wastes, and wastes from food production .......etc. These wastes are useless by-products of their respective production processes, but are in fact useful organic materials with potential application. Such material can be used in agriculture for fertilizer, to improve soils, and to reduce the cost for resource consumption in agriculture. Doing so would also reduce the total wastes discharged to the environment and help conserve the environment.
