Efficacy test of Bio-pesticides in management of Clubroot Disease Soham Shrestha

Fields once infected with the Clubroot pathogen remain so indefinitely and become almost unfit for cultivation of brassicas. Vegetable crops have a higher value than other field crops, however, it, requires higher input and attention. Use of chemicals are solutions for only a limited time period and should be reapplied at every plantation period increasing the cost of input and risk both the ecosystem and health of organisms living. People worldwide have become more conscious regarding their health and the food they consume, this has led agricultural peasants to shift their cultivation practices towards organic. So the experiment was designed in an attempt to verify the biological and eco-friendly control measures to manage Clubroot disease. The research result is expected to provide suitable eco-friendly tools that may ensure effective disease management. The research is performed at a farmer's field with an objective to test the efficacy of bio-pesticides that would be a sustainable solution for Clubroot disease.
