Evaluation of Hepatoprotective Activity of Terminalia Chebula Leaves: Hepatoprotective Activity of Terminalia Chebula Leaves Against Paracetamol Toxicity
Ramesh Alluri
Paracetamol is one of the most commonly used drugs worldwide and it even has severe hepato-toxic effects in long term use i.e. chronic use. Our present work was aimed at reducing this toxicity by using some natural products since naturally obtained products have minimal toxic effects than synthetic ones. Terminalia chebula leaf powder was prepared and fed to rats who were receiving paracetamol and it showed promising results in countering paracetamol toxicity
