SMEs form the backbone of economies. For growing economies such as Malaysia these firms play a fundamental role in industrial dynamism, economic mechanism and market evolution. This places a key emphasis on the strategic behavior of these firms. This study is situated within this context. It aims to explore dimensions of strategic flexibility or resiliency of these firms and narrows its focus towards manufacturing firms. This is because manufacturing SMEs face a tremendous amount of exogenous changes which endanger their operation and necessitate them to become agile and flexible.
