The important advantage of irrigation agriculture over rain fed agriculture is that with irrigation yields fluctuations from year to year are reduced. Irrigation can help producers to grow different crops, which in turn can increase varieties in household?s preparation. Moreover, production diversification reduces risk against a number of calamities such as flood, drought and crop failure. In short, production by irrigation is made with greater certainty and irrigation farming leads to a more contemptuous process of production implying more export items, more income, etc. The survey result of this paper confirmed that, irrigation user and non-user households earned an average income of $1,164 and $565 respectively.
