Air pollution is one of the major issues for the pollution across the world. Exposure to high levels of major pollutants such as SO2, NO2, RSPM, PM10 etc. can cause many major health related issues. The objectives is to determine status and trends of ambient air quality; to ascertain whether the prescribed ambient air quality standards are violated; to Identify Non-attainment Cities i.e. Air Quality of these cities is categorized into low, moderate, high and critical depending upon the specific pollutant concentration with respect to NAAQS standards; to obtain the knowledge and understanding necessary for developing preventive and corrective measures. It is an effective and versatile tool for the assessment of Air Quality.
