The Entrepreneurial Intention of University Students in Tanzania: Employment Creation Initiatives Through Entrepreneurship Intentions Baraka Kambi

Entrepreneurship intention is normally manifested by the action of venture creation; It is a celebrated concept worldwide as it is a way to create jobs and drive away poverty as there are limited job opportunities in Public sector; whereas there are many opportunities in the private sector. It was statistically found that factors that fostered the entrepreneurship intention among University students in Tanzania were Family background influences, gender, entrepreneurial traits/orientation and the choice of courses of study. It requires the army of informed university students with entrepreneurship skills to solve the problem of unemployment and poverty through entrepreneurship intentions since Tanzania is a country full of opportunities for wealth creation, enterprises and future prosperity. It is a challenge to all stakeholders of higher education to make university students more entrepreneurial,analytical,full of skills and able to solve problems at the highest level. Entrepreneurial Intentions can make the university students be able to turn poverty and unemployment challenges into job and wealth creation. Therefore this book addresses unemployment challenges and poverty.
