V rabote predstavleny rezul'taty lazernogo zondirovaniya stratosfernogo aerozolya na Sibirskoy lidarnoy stantsii IOA SO RAN (g. Tomsk) v period s 1984 po 2003g. Izmereniya provodilis' na lidarakh, osnovu kotorykh predstavlyali zerkal'nye teleskopy s diametrami 1 i 2,2 metra. Dominiruyushchee kolichestvo dannykh predstavlyayut signaly obratnogo rasseyaniya na dline volny 532 nm. Oni yavilis' osnovoy dlya issledovaniya vertikal'no-vremennykh variatsiy stratosfernogo aerozolya v diapazone ot neskol'kikh chasov do masshtabov desyatiletiya. Bylo vyyavleno nalichie dvukhletnego tsikla v soderzhanii stratosfernogo aerozolya. Eto eshche raz ukazalo na to, chto aerozol' yavlyaetsya unikal'nym prirodnym trasserom global'nykh atmosfernykh protsessov. Odnovremennoe ispol'zovanie dlya zondirovaniya atmosfery lidarnykh peredatchikov (lazerov) s neskol'kimi dlinami voln dalo vozmozhnost' reshat' zadachi opredeleniya mikrostrukturnykh kharakteristik stratosfernogo aerozolya.
