Stigma and discrimination towards persons with different types of disabilities has strong negative devastating effects. Especially in developing countries like Ethiopia, its consequences exceeds victims and is extended to family members. This study has attempted to suggest the joint and collaborative efforts to be made in the reduction and/or minimization of the psychological Impacts of stigma towards people affected by leprosy (Hansen's disease) and their family members. It looks forward about the efforts to be made by governmental, non-governmental and civic organizations to address the problem.
