This book looks at how schools can manage conflicts among the learners. South African schools are infested with violence, this sometimes spill over to affect teachers. This book suggest solutions to such conflicts and advocates for Peace Education to be introduced in schools, for learners to be equipped with skill of conflict resolution or management. This book also advocate for schools to train teachers in conflict management or resolutions. These trainings will teach teachers how to deal with conflicts. Peer mediation has been identified as a tool that can be used to manage conflicts. Peer mediation empowers learners, to get involved and intervene before conflicts get out of control and lead to violence. Gateway Christian School was the chosen case study, because it is a co-education school.
