Nurses costitute the highest proportion of health care providers. Their role in the administration of ECs includes provision of quality reproductive health care and dispensing EC materials for the needy. In this study it aws observed that knowledge of emergency contraceptions has positive relation with educational qualifucation and on job training. Where as attitude and practice were neutral to sociodemographic characteristic. To insure the quality of reproductive health care in general and that of emergency contraceptives in particular, on job training of nurse is indispensible.
