Sesame (Sesamum Indicum L.) Production Potentials: Assessment of Optimum Fertilizer Rate for the Production of Sesame (Sesamum Indicum L.)
Shehu Haruna
Sesame (Sesamum indicum L.) also known as benniseed is one of the most ancient oil seed crops known and used by man. Its high grain yield potential has not been fully attained due to lack of fertilizer application even in main sesame growing areas. This scenario is exacerbated by low level of management. Therefore, this book provides quantitative data on fertilizers required for optimum production of sesame. Status and agronomic efficiencies of these fertilizers are discussed.
