The book is about the inclusion of students with physical impairment in the higher education isntitutions. It highlights that most of the infrastructure (lecture rooms, residences, transport for students, etc) are all aimed at accomodating able-boldied students. The students with any physical impairment are not included as if they are not part of the student body. The exclusion of these students comes from long time ago, even in teh Bible, people with dreadful deseases were excluded and considered as evil. People with impairment are still treated as an embarrassment to the society. The book emphasizes the changes that has to take place, starting from the small units which are homes and extending to the social environments(public environments). It highlights the importance of attitudes of the society towards the people with impairments that it has to change in order to have an inclusisive society.
