Potato (solanum tubersum L.) is grown in over 100 countries worldwide and seen as a promising crop in food and nutrition security in the 21th century. Additionally, the awareness of using of alternative nitrogen resources towards sustainability is increasing. However, the proper management practices of biological nitrogen fertilizers within potato plantations is still a challenge. The current work assessed various sources of organic fertilizers, their combinations and their potentials as nitrogen sources within potato production. Additionally, some potato growth parameters and nitrogen nutrition indices, which are used under conventional production, were tested.
