Tobacco has deep impact on the life of farmers of the area but they still facing a lot of problems, the environment this crop are required, very limited in Pakistan, district Swabi has more favourable environment for best variety of tobacco which is about 43 percent all over Pakistan. It contribute to the GDP 4.4% in 2005 cultivate on the area of 0.07% as compared to wheat which cultivate on the area of more than 17% area of Pakistan contributing about1.7% to the GDP of Pakistan. But due to the anti smoking lobby and other restrictions the farmers are discouraging by many other lobbies to deprive them a wealthy crop. But poverty is more dangerous than smoking. Jamshaid Iqbal
