This is our attempt to design a system that would enable cooking to be done indoors, with solar mirrors placed outdoors. Our idea was to tackle the basic hindrance that is present with Solar cooking, that is, it can only be done outdoors. So we have combined the features of outdoor cooking that is possible from solar cooker, with the requirement of indoor cooking. In our design we will capture the solar heat outdoors, store it, and then transport this energy via a liquid medium, inside the kitchen. Here the heat energy from our liquid medium will in turn be used to cook food on the stove, the same way as we use electric stoves. This design, when perfected, could be used in all household kitchens, replacing expensive fossil fuels.
