Social Quality and Social Well-being for Aged People: Toward Measuring and Understanding in Community Level Nobaya Ahmad

INC-2007 stated to increasing 6.8% of Iranian aged. The evidences have locally and nationally referred to social problems e.g. declined social indicators like societal networks, social cohesion and inclusion. These elements are partially stated in some new phenomena e.g. SC, SQA, SWB, LS, QoL. The book reviews two topics. Firstly, attend to aged life in the community. The community of Ahwäz city, as the capital of Khuzistän province and a major city in southwest of Iran is affected by ethnic distribution of social life, hence the gender-related issues of social community. Secondly, theoretical aspects well conducted that describe this situation: Social Well- Being and Social Quality. Instrumentation of theoretical concepts to assess the social situation of aged is main goal of the book. This book is reinforced by operational instruments can describe aged and give better decision makings for local and national government and other social practitioners who are looking for understand and measuring problematical Issues of developing countries. The book is well adjusted for both academic and practitioner Gerontologists and other social scientists.
