Currently, it is possible to achieve full mobility in everyday environment using a near- infrared light sensors to monitor brain function in humans. Multiple wireless networks employing several protocols can be used for data carriage and provide new freedom to conduct monitoring in real environments outside a lab. The measurements of the changes of the concentration of oxyhemoglobin (HbO2) and deoxyhemoglobin (Hb) in the real-life environment, might lead to better understanding of tissue pathologies.
