Shorttitle Mentally retarded persons face challenges similar to their peers which need to be addressed through counseling services. Due to their low intelligence some are not able to comprehend and understand challenges facing them. Counseling is therefore meant to help them make decisions about these challenges in order to live independent lives and function normally in the community. This may not be so due to their low intelligence as discussed in this book. The book therefore tries to discuss some issues and how the young adults can be assisted.l hope this book will be useful to readers with a mind of helping persons with mental retardation live meaningful lives.
