Earthworms are recognized as farmer's friend. Inspite of their utility in the fields these are also having medicinal & pharmaceutical significance. In the research it has been described that a species of earthworm, Eudrilus eugeniae which is native of Africa is having the medicinal importance. The antimicrobial, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and anticoagulant properties of Eudrilus eugeniae were studied.
