Metal Nanocluster: Morphological Aspects of Silver Nanocluster Deposited on Silicon
Angelin Ebanezar John
"This project explores the innovative property of silver nanocluster, which is produced by sputtering and softly deposited on silicon. The report gives detail idea on generation of clusters, mass selection, instrumentaion and various technique for morphological analyzes. When we come to nano, morphology plays important role in unrevealing many magic properties. Here the cathodo-luminescence study of Ag cluster reveals the luminescent property of Silver, which is due to surface plasmon resonance at Ag-Si interface. This gives idea to explore more on Ag clusters so as to use in modern electronics in near future".
